Kenji Baba first saw the Paris tower while studying car technology in Germany. Inspired by its design, he returned for seven days of observation, drew plans and worked after factory hours for seven and a half years. A 2026 RKB field interview describes the main tower as about 23 metres and welcomes visitors for photographs. Completion year and the height endpoint remain unconfirmed.
